Perfect tear protection

I always keep my trailer covered. I bought a new camper with gutters on every corner. I bought these lids to protect the gutters and not tear my lid. They work great. They have straps to keep the lids from coming off the gutters. They are very durable material.

Pros
  • Beautiful thing
Cons
  • Compatibility

Poor quality - single use and junk

I bought 3 packs of these materials to fill all the grooves on my 40ft 5. to cover the wheel. I wore them for the first time a few weeks ago. I was going to pick up the van to camp and noticed all the broken straps all over the floor around the van, not to mention they didn't protect the van's lid from catching on the gutter. All the balls flew out of the chute and fell to the ground, and the roof of the van was torn by the chute in the corner.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Mostly fine but...

They can break if you drop them and step on them. Just saying ;)

I love that they cover the grommets so they don't rip the trailer lid. I don't like that they can't carry a 220lb person stepping on them. So maybe I need better glasses for my husband. They fit, adjust and work as advertised. Additional statement: Make sure your trailer's gutters are sealed where the running structure breaks. Where the seams converge as they will now be the weak link in potential snagging and tearing of the coating.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Nothing

Rotted in 6 months

It was a good idea/design and worked well; but it rotted in the Florida sun in 6 months, even when completely covered by my RV's cover. Of course my van cover was obviously not suitable for the sun as it also rotted dry but it had to cover part of the sun. My camper had a polypropylene Adco AquaShed which does not appear to be suitable for prolonged exposure to the sun. The straps on these grooves have become untied and will break at the slightest pull. Maybe I can use my own straps and plastic

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Wow, customer support

I purchased this product in May and at the end of July the straps were paper. Literally made to paper under the covers. It would break with zero force. However, I contacted the company and got a response an hour later (overnight) and they are sending a new replacement made for the southern states and our 110 summer heat. I would literally pay for this company's customer service. I would rank them in the top 10 companies I've ever dealt with, which is 100,000. If you live in a very hot climate I

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Works, but strap length can be an issue.

things work, but the straps are too short. I have a 32 foot fifth wheel with two air conditioners on the roof. Nothing special about the length or width of my RV. The rear gutter covers worked well wrapping around the rear AC unit. However, for front mounting, the straps were too short to wrap around the front AC unit. The straps were about 3-4 feet (yes, feet, not inches) too short for my setup. With 5 wheels, the front roof slopes towards the front of the RV, forcing manufacturers to installโ€ฆ

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine
