Not suitable. About cleaning and maintenance

Seems well made but doesn't fit my RV bumper. I have a standard 4 inch bumper but these plugs do not fit the ends of the bumper. The inner opening of the bumper is 3 7/8 inches and the plugs are exactly 4 inches.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Minor issues

Not suitable for cleaning and maintenance

Had to heavily sand all edges of both end caps to fit a 2020 caravan that the OEM end caps fit perfectly. MUCH oversized by at least 1/4" all around. It took me almost an hour to trim them down to size.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Negative present

The 4 " bumper is very difficult to hit

The 4" bumper on the Casita caravan is very difficult to hit. I had to grind the bevel and hit it with a hammer. Luckily I still have one from the casita as the new one is "permanent".

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Broadly ok but...

End cap much better than stock

After losing my original bumper end caps I bought these as a replacement, made from treadmill and stronger material and a tighter fit. I'm very satisfied, they last longer and don't fall out of the end of the bumper during transport

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Too tight. You really have to drive in there.

We have our drain hose in the rear bumper and we bought these because the ones we had "mysteriously" lost after servicing the camper. Bought these. They are very tight which is normal but trying to remove one side to reach the drain hose is very difficult!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Low

They will not fit!: Van Parts & Accessories

They are too big for the standard 4x4 bumper fascia. They do not fit. I have purchased parts from various companies over the years and have never had a problem. I was supposed to return them but when they arrived I only kept them for a couple of weeks until I returned the van. The return date has now passed.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Available in White Only

Wrong size for van parts and accessories

Would be great if it fitted! The material is thick and feels durable. No cheap plastic waste. But whoever designed it took the wrong measurements. This is the exact size of the OUTSIDE bumper dimensions, so it is too big to fit. However, you can cut corners on either side with a reasonably sharp knife and it will fit, but then you lose the holding power of a proper fit. .

  • Featured
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly

Failed on first drive

When we received our new motorhome from the dealer both bumper covers were hanging almost completely from the ends of the bumper. I ordered them to replace because we lost both originals during our first trip. Unfortunately we both lost on the next tour. Now we have Camco caps that have one end pressed in and the other end attached to the drain hose and have magnets. Two hikes in the hikes and they didn't budge.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Update availability

Fits right - probably won't fall out but I installed the pen anyway. Rubber is not plastic. Should serve. Oldtimers Dz - I left my bumper plug on top of the bumper tube and that's all she wrote. I read the comments - many criticize the tight fit in the 4" bumper tube. But for myself I found the fit to be snug but easily manageable. They arrived a day late but still on time for me to get my RV back for storage. Insert the pen. This connector will NOT fall out. Point. Not sure why there is a 1"…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Upgrades
