The bag arrived in perfect condition and can hold almost all of my artwork materials. I was afraid it would have a strong synthetic smell, which it doesn't. I carry around 15-20 pound stuff from time to time and the straps hold up. The back pocket is big enough for a laptop and feels well padded so I don't have to worry about breaking anything. I have a metal ruler that I also carry in it and it hasn't bent or deformed yet. There are plenty of mini pockets in the main/middle compartment that I use for things like mini paint containers or tissue pouches, but I wish some of them were a bit wider to hold things like a computer mouse when I need to carry my laptop. Sometimes my brushes fall out of the brush holders in the top removable tray and the spacing between them is odd making it difficult to have them. there are many writing or drawing utensils at once. The straps are very comfortable, good for security but not suitable for things like regular erasers or even regular pens which are very difficult to put in and take out comfortably. Again, it would help if some of them were a bit wider. The bag sits a little awkwardly on my back, unless the straps are very well trained it tends to sit on my lower back causing a lot of lower back pain. beginning (I guess I'm used to it haha). However, it doesn't stick out so much that it's uncomfortable to carry around for fear of knocking everyone down, and it's reliable enough not to worry about sticky fingers in crowded areas. It keeps its rectangular shape very well even when filled with a moderate amount of non-rectangular items. If you are an art student or a traveling artist and find it difficult to keep track of all your belongings, I would recommend this bag. The removable compartment is extremely handy on days when I know I don't have to lug everything around. Just be careful not to hurt yourself, it can get tough after a while trudging around your dorm room.
