Anyone reading these reviews is probably as obsessed with music as I am. I own a few "flagship" DACs and headphones, but these IEMs are a bargain for the price from a manufacturer that continues to raise the bar for audiophile gear at moderate prices. I'm a big headphone lover, I own Focals, Audeze, Hi Fi Man and Oppo to name a few. This is my first pair of IEMs and for the price I can't think of a better option. So, just repeating what I don't particularly like, which is the fact that their handwriting as a "height-sensitive" audiophile is a bit lighter, in my opinion. The included replacement filters really help tame the high frequencies (ironically, the treble boost gave me the best sound profile) so of course it all depends on your listening preferences. I also suggest that you take the time to try all the tips and filters that come with it, as they make a huge difference in my experience. Out of the box the highs were fatiguing in my opinion, but once I found the right combination of tips and filter (green filter) it definitely smoothed out their tonal profile. Don't hesitate if you're looking for quality IEMs at a reasonable price - Fiio got it right.
