My original stands that I bought have become a terrible scourge after 20 hard years of moving around and living near the ocean with saltwater fog invading my audio room. up to 28 inches tall so my tweeters fall to ear level on my couch. The foam padding on the stand is an improvement over your typical sticky rubber squares that wrap around every corner. Room acoustics is easier than lifting and moving the entire base. I've run out of cords, but being able to thread it through the slots helps keep the unsightly wires out, but just make sure you're not running a gauge that's too small or have bulky shrouded treadmills that cause a lot of compression. They are strong enough for me, but the ambitious music lover will probably work on filling them with sand or something. similar. Currently installed is a large speaker panel that weighs 21 pounds and is 11.4 inches deep with no issues. The overall aesthetics are top notch. very slim, dignified surfaces with a minimalist look. The kickstands are there and noticeable, but try not to get in the way. So if you have an elegant or extravagant speaker design, attention will be drawn to it. stand but don't want to pay for audiophile brand stands.
