Review on ASICS HyperGEL Kenzen Cherry Tomato Men's Running Shoes & Athletic Sneakers by John Thawngzauk

Do not buy this running shoe.

This shoe is a big disappointment. I have been wearing Asics shoes exclusively for over ten years and was very disappointed with this purchase. They're comfortable for at home, but the laceless front cuts into the front of the ankle when you run, but not when you walk. So I wore them indoors for a while thinking they fit, but after my first run my ankles hurt for two days. I thought maybe it was because the shoes were new, but after a few days I tried again with the same results. These shoes look very elegant, but they are not suitable for walking. I didn't want to return them because they had been worn on the road and weren't defective and in their last email they suggested they were more for everyday wear than running. It's good that they are called "sneakers" and cost more than a hundred dollars. They are not defective because they are suitable for human feet, but the design is not suitable for walking. I have never written a negative review on Asics running shoes and have been wearing them for years. So this negative review is a reflection of this particular product and the lousy Asics customer support taking care of it. However, they make excellent paperweights. Here's what they are now.

Pros
  • Very comfortable shoes, love them
Cons
  • Bought one size bigger and still tight...
