Great size for a large number of pens (48)

I have a 48 pen and two 12 pen cases. They are all well made and have easy to insert and extend handles. If you have a lot of pens, you need a case with a large capacity. I made the mistake of arranging my pens in order of purchase. This seemed like a good idea at first, but many of my pens look similar, so I rearranged them by manufacturer and picked the most expensive ones first. The rubber band keeps the handles from hitting each other. Round-nosed or spherical tips (bottom of handle) are easiest to insert. Square tips require more care when inserting. All in all a very good product.
