The product received does not match the picture. Instead of a blue rubber tip, it had a longer transparent flexible plastic tip. The reason for this is that we had a case where the tip came loose during use. Clear plastic is not as flexible. I used it to give our cat a larger than usual pill: Cosequin for cats. A large capsule will barely fit in the open end of this dropper. When I pushed the plunger to give our cat a pill, the pill holder popped out as well. Our 12 year old brown tabby swallowed both. When I took the pill and saw that there was no pill holder, I was shocked! I urgently took our cat to the veterinary clinic and examined him. It was a month ago. It's no fun going through litter boxes to see if something is stuck in your cat's digestive system. Our vet finds that the smaller blue flexible tip holds the pill less tightly and doesn't come loose. And it would be less of a problem if swallowed.
