Review on 🔒 2-Inch Stainless Steel Butt Joint Band Clamp Exhaust Sleeve - Set of 2 Pieces by Steven Loy

Two 2.25" clamps were purchased to mount a 2-1/16" fiberglass pole as a flagpole on a composite deck. The sockets are made of finely polished stainless steel and are excellent for this purpose. As silencer clamps, they seem like aesthetic overkill, but to each their own. The clips, individually packaged in plastic bags in a tight-fitting inner carton and outer carton, arrived undamaged. Someone obviously doesn't care! The clamps are as strong as the proverbial armour. Their use as a flag pole mount involved drilling a 1/4-20 standoff and tapped hole in the clamp rods and the stainless steel bushing for a 1/4" screw, then drilling a hole in a clamp rod for that thread. Stainless steel sleeve is a very strong steel, difficult to drill and extremely difficult to thread. Again, someone obviously cares!
