This is a review of Methdic Printable LabelsYou get a package of 3,000 labels with a permanent adhesive, 1 by 2 5/8 inches (2.5 by 6.6cm), a standard shipping size.Printable on one side (inkjet/laser), then all you do is peel and stick. The labels come 30 per 8.5 by 11 inches (21.6 by 28cm) sheets, for a total of 100 sheets. Their standard "letter” size fits most inkjet and laser printers.Plus, they come in a sturdy box; not a thin envelope, so there is no chance that they will bend or curl.The TestsI do not just use these labels to send a package; they have so many other great uses. But they must permanently stick to whatever surface I choose to attach them to. So, I printed out a test set and got to work.The first thing I did was to stick one to a vacuum-seal bag and pop it into the freezer. The next day I took it out, and the label was still firmly affixed to the plastic bag. I tried them on an envelope, glass, and metal. In every case they held firm and did not peel away.Just remember that the surface should be clean and dry, and you will not have any problems.In addition to their sticking capabilities, they need to produce sharp, clean text and images. I printed out a tight barcode, and then scanned it without problem. The printed text is clean and sharp, and it even does well with colored graphics. I used the 8160-printing, word-processing template, and they printed out perfectly.I did one more test, I wet my finger and rubbed it across the printed label, and although it did smudge slightly, it was still easily readable.The only caution that I can give you, is that make sure when you affix the label it is exactly where you want it, because once on, it is not coming off without a fight.
