Beautiful jug. It looks very good and the style combines classic and modern. It's nice and heavy too. I ordered it for a bachelorette party. Here's the thing: When you grab it by the handle to pour, a hard, sharp edge of glass sticks out where you hold your fingers. When it's full, the Birdie gets even heavier, meaning you'll have to injure yourself to use it. I can't give it away even though it's so beautiful. I don't know if this is a defect or if they are ok with this design. going back.
