update! 10/01/2020Bought them last year, we loved them so much I ordered them again for my 2.5 year old. Toddler size is larger than toddler size. When I bought them last year I had to go up a size. My son is currently sitting just right in size 7c. I bought the 9c thinking it would give him room for thick or layered socks for winter play in the snow. It was very great that I came back for 8c. The 8c fits him with a full finger gap without being too big or too small for room for extra socks. The quality and materials are the same as last year! Now that my son is older and thinner the booties are a little big but that's ok! The elastic can be stretched for a better fit. I will buy them every year until he runs out of the right sizes. But for a bigger size I have to go back. He is currently 13 months old so I figured I would have ordered 12-18 months. I just walked closer to him. But buying them as winter boots means thicker socks. He would not fit in the shoes with thicker socks. Overall the quality of the boots is exceptional for the price. It's very light for a new walker, very soft inside and out. I highly recommend! Maybe just try the size on with your little ones if they have swollen feet like me.
