These are really good fashion socks. They're a decent quarter length, well above the ankle but not like crew socks. I have size 8 shoes and they sit perfectly on the heel, just where I expect them to be. They contain 3% spandex, which allows them to adjust to fit but also hold their shape without stretching. They don't pinch and are very comfortable. In the package they are presented in three colors: black, gray and white, which makes the whole package very versatile. Some have a chevron, some don't. Also, some FILAs are black while others are grey. This means you can easily mix and match them, which still seems common. I run a lot, but I wouldn't wear them to run. They're just too thin for that. These are really just trendy socks that are great for around the house or paired with a good pair of casual or weekend sneakers. Because they're lightweight, they're better suited to warmer weather, but probably aren't suited to the colder winter months. They wash well in the cold and dry well at low temperatures. from my sock collection.
