I registered a phone and got it as a gift. It came with a plastic bracket that was so bulky it couldn't fit between my crib and the wall. I also needed the slats to be perfectly flat to work with and relied on a shelf that sat over the rim of the crib and neither setting worked with my crib. This hand is way better! It's easy to use, easy to install, far more versatile than the cheap plastic that comes with a cellphone, and the design is far more attractive than a cheap piece of cotton wool on a plastic mount. The height is easily adjustable. I wasn't sure how high to place the mobile above the crib, but my husband recently used the mobile for the first time and didn't have to ask me for help to change the height setting. All edges are sanded smooth. The silicone backing keeps it in place for a long time. It's very pretty and well made and I'm not worried about safety once my son is big enough to grab it.
