This product is amazing! My wife and I have looked at and read many reviews of various single auger slow juicers. It was something that suited all of our needs. The box containing the product showed an older model with no juice cap and yellow cleaning blades. So I'm already disappointed. But upon closer inspection of what was in the box, I found myself able to chuckle and the frustration subsided. The juicer is the latest model with a juice cover, improved red rubber seal and new red cleaning blades. Some reviews said they actually received used product from this seller and claimed they ordered new product, others said the juicer was leaking. all over the counter, others said the juicer helped them squeeze carrot juice, others said the juicer was making strange noises and not working properly. etc. If I had followed those reviews I would not have bought this juicer let alone from this seller. I am here to tell you that the seller acted as promised. The juicer is new and it is an improved model. The juicer works perfectly. I was able to juice the carrots and celery with no problem, of course I cut the celery in about 1 inch. Make sure the bottom pulp plug is in place and sealed. And other parts are aligned with the dots and in place, I haven't had any issues with leaking, backing up or jamming. This juicer is very quiet. I can press and talk to my wife at the same time without raising my voice too much. Flesh runners eject fairly dry flesh. Juice extraction is very good. Many reviews have complained about the pulp in the juice. All single auger vertical juicers will produce some pulp. It makes no difference to me whether there is pulp in the juice or not. But first, from the reviews and from what people have been describing the pulp, I thought I could taste chunks of pulp in juice as you can taste, and sometimes chew the pulp of a store-bought pulped orange juice. Instead, the pulp just makes the juice a little thicker and creamier. y depending on what you're juicing. But far from the smooth consistency some describe. I personally liked it. You can't taste the pulp at all. As I said, this only makes the juice a little thicker. It's like comparing the consistency of water to whole milk. Other complaints were that the juicer is difficult to clean. Tribest includes a mesh filter and cleaning brush that make life 100% easier. The brush has bristles specially designed to clean all nooks and crannies of the machine. Especially the little gear at the bottom of the juicer. The end of the brush is specially designed to clean the inner holes and pulp outlet to remove all the pulp from there. A very, very good juicer will also come with a grinder attachment. Haven't used it yet, but check out John Koller from Discountjuc.com on YouTube. He had many, many videos from a variety of juicers, including juicers comparing different juicers. This works well and will help make your life healthier and more enjoyable!
