At first my monitor was excellent. I loved it and would have had no complaints if it hadn't even died 2 years after purchase. It is owned by adults from a non-smoking home and has been well cared for since purchase. It's not the power cord, the monitor just stopped working. The repair and shipping fee is almost the same as a new monitor, and of course, according to the schedule, that's no longer their problem unless you want to pay them more to fix a poorly designed monitor. All I can really say is that you are buying a temporary monitor at a great price. I would AVOID this at all costs. If I could go back I would buy a Samsung/Asus/Sony or something permanent. I've never had a monitor just die. I feel robbed and very disappointed in LG. I don't like ranting and leaving feedback on BS, but I'm very frustrated by this and the lack of support for a fix. I lost $400 on a crappy monitor that was designed to be void of warranty and not worth repairing. I will never buy from LG, nor do I advise you to. There are far better monitor manufacturers out there, and it costs more in the long run to have a monitor that will last and always deliver great quality. TL; DR=F, LG! AVOID LIKE THE PEST.
