Great chair to start with if you sit a lot

One thing I will immediately notice is that although the product I ordered was marked as new due to the fact that some parts were in the middle of assembly and the screws and tools came in a small loose bag that was slightly tattered, the packaging was not exactly new. The only thing I can say for sure was new, those are the legs and wheels, but that's more of a seller issue than a product issue. Keep in mind that my experience is based on a chair that probably wasn't new. - Easy assembly, instructions were written and clear. - The sides of the chair lift a bit so if you sit wide it can hurt but it's an easy fix, just sit properly - the instructions say to put the pillow near the top, but since I'm a small person I just put them on things like Darth Vader's eyes, they droop a bit but that's not really a problem when you're sitting. - The head pad is a bit hard, I might try rubbing it down a bit to get a bit more softness. - The lumbar support pillow is great! My last chair gave me terrible back pain, but since I got this one it hasn't happened again. The armrests are great! Although some of the plastic shells can move a bit. It's not distracting and doesn't really affect anything other than my right side moves a bit more and it's definitely distracting. I might put a piece of wood or cardboard between the gap to make this easier. Now that I've fiddled with it as I write, maybe I'll see if I can get a replacement - the footrest is perfect! I watch movies and read with it and it's great, it doesn't slide out very smoothly but that's probably a good thing because you don't want it to slide out when you don't want it to. - Leaning back is good. While it says it can rotate 170 degrees, it can handle 180 degrees. I wouldn't recommend it because you might fall. The rear end doesn't move all the way forward when you use the lever so you have to pull it by hand at times, however this could be an issue with my particular lever. Overall, like any product, it's not perfect, but at this price point, it has my recommendation, it's very comfortable, and great for whatever you do at your desk.
