Vera Bradley makes the best hanging toiletry bags. I've been using the same one at home every day for about 8 years. I leave it open and hanging on a hook in the bathroom, and it's the best way to organize my makeup so it's easy to see and within reach so I don't have to rummage through lower cabinets for stuff. I'll be using my new large Vera Bradley bag for travel (once the world gets back to normal), but these bags are also really great for home use, for those with lots of makeup and limited space. I prefer black dominated Vera bags (my old bag was black and white with a floral print, very similar to the bag on this site) and I think this black quilted bag with a beautiful floral interior has a classy and sophisticated look. It's a big bag but I think it's perfect for short or long trips. It can hold a ton but is not bulky as the compartments are well organized. This bag measures approximately 11 x 12 x 3 inches when zippered (thicker if overflows) and has top handles. It breaks down into three parts. The top has 2 zippers but is divided into 4 smaller small parts compartments (4" x 5" each) with a plastic front. In the middle there are two large (approx. 4 x 11" and 5 x 11") zippered compartments (one mesh and one plastic compartment). The bottom accommodates larger items as it has a deep zippered plastic compartment that matches the size of the bottom section, as well as a 5" x 11" mesh compartment at the bottom. When the zipper is open the bag hangs from a sturdy metal hanger which I prefer to hang on a door hook as the bag is about 34 inches long (plus hanger) and it puts everything at eye level as I'm tall. The hook can also be hung on a shower curtain rod, but it's too small to hang on my toilet rod at home (but might fit some hotel closet rods). This bag can also be hung by one of the handles on a doorknob, but on my doorknobs it drags across the floor on a hanger. For me the hanging structure is a must for travel when moving around places as there is no unpacking and repacking required and it is also great as counter space is often limited. This stylish bag is well organized and exceptionally well made so it will last for years to come. Love it. 5 Stars.
