"Rating of the Bella Ballerina ballerinas: decent quality but average overall "

As a dance teacher and parent, I was dying to try on Bella ballet flats for my students and daughter. Overall I found them to be of decent quality, but unfortunately they didn't exceed my expectations. What I liked about these flat shoes is the elastic opening. The lack of ties allows young children to put on and take off their shoes independently. However, the elastic on the foot was a bit loose and didn't provide enough support during activities. The soft pink leather is nice and high quality, but the shoes don't have the same durability as other brands I've tried. After a few uses, I noticed that the stitching was a bit frayed and torn. Measurements were also accurate, but I found the shoes didn't mold to the shape of the foot like other leather flats. In terms of arch support and overall fit, these shoes are average. They didn't offer as much support and structure as I had hoped, but they weren't uncomfortable either. I have had students complain that the shoes feel too loose or not comfortable enough during class, but this can vary depending on the child's foot shape. Generally, Bella ballerinas are of good quality, but I was not impressed. I appreciate the idea of the elasticated opening and soft leather, but wish they offered more arch support and durability. If you're looking for an inexpensive, no-frills option to practice ballet with your child, check out these shoes. Otherwise it might be worth investing in a higher quality pair with more structure and durability.
