Used on a few walks with a 65lb pit and so far so good. As long as you learn to manage the length, this can be a very useful tool for your dog to have more freedom. In my opinion, 30 feet is the ideal length. It's not that difficult to use, and it also allows you to play around a bit. The leash has some elasticity, which is nice if your dog pulls a little. The clasps seem strong enough, although they could be a bit heavier. A clasp at both ends is a nice touch. I attach one end to a belt loop so I can handle the potty hands-free.
