I needed a device to connect my iPhone to our Sonos system as an alternative to Bluetooth speakers. I bought this device on the recommendation of a friend, it works great. Very easy setup - cables for RCA and 3.5mm jack plugs are included (you need RCA for Sonos input). Initial pairing and later re-pairing a paired device is just as easy - just press the button on the bluMe receiver to wake it up, then select Auris bluMe on iPhone. The range is really impressive. Not only does it pick up a Bluetooth signal in a large room, it even works through walls from the next room. Sonos makes this easy, too: you can set your Sonos device to automatically switch to line-in when it detects a signal. , so once paired, you can start playing the source on your iPhone without opening the Sonos app. I initially had an issue where the signal dropped, but I think the bluMe receiver may have been interfering with the Sonos device as it was right next to it. At the suggestion of Sonos tech support, I found it about a foot away and it's been working fine ever since.
