Review on High Capacity Panasonic BK-3HCCE4BE Eneloop Pro AA Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries (Pack of 4) by Jim Case

Is that junk or fake? High failure rate after only 20-30 cycles

I was trying to standardize on what I thought were high quality Panasonic OneLoop Pro AA batteries. They cost more, but the features and quality were worth it, at least I thought so. The fact is that after a few years of minor use in various applications (soap dispensers, game console controllers, LED lights), they have about 50% failure. I'm talking less than 20 cycles. They don't charge in the Panasonic charger designed for these batteries and when tested with a better charger it says "High" and won't let me charge them. Ironically, I have several Radio Shack rechargeable batteries (yes, remember Radio Shack?) and they still work. So either these aren't genuine OneLoop Pro batteries, or Panasonic really has a quality control issue and they're not worth what you're paying for. I will contact Panasonic and see if they rate their product.

Cons
