Review on πŸ”Š Wiistar Optical Fiber Decoder with AC3/DTS/Toslink Coaxial Digital to Analog Audio L/R Conversion and 3.5mm Earphone Jack by Eric Pavelko

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple and serves its purpose.

I bought a new TV that only had an HDMI or optical audio output. But my old school home theater needed an analog input. This little box was the solution. Five dampers are working and everything is set up and working. I'm going to stick it on the back of the TV so everything is in order. Bonus: the description doesn't show the miniUSB port on the side next to the optical/coax switch. I tried it and in fact I was able to connect the device to a USB port on the TV with a USB cable. Now the supplied power adapter no longer has to be used. One star deducted because I just received it and can't say anything about durability yet. As already mentioned, the red cinch plug is labeled "left" and the white "right". Haven't figured out which is which yet as I haven't heard anything with obvious stereo separation.

  • Industrial electronics
Cons
