I have two of these, one to cool my modem and the other to air in and out our built in PS3 entertainment mount. (There's not enough clearance between the top of the entertainment stand and the bottom of the TV to put it on.) They're good, with a 3-way switch to change speeds. I found the lowest settings best, otherwise the swaying wind would be a little annoying. At the lowest speed, only the noise of the bearings (double ball if I understood correctly) is audible and sounds like rolling and a little grinding noise. But does a good job. What I wasn't expecting was that cooling my modem reduced its latency to local servers by 2-12ms during testing (this is variable and all the numbers are better than in my story, so I'm paying attention to that too.) But it really wasn't enough to see an improvement in online gaming.
