This is amazing! I was looking for something inexpensive but effective to create under cabinet lighting for my kitchen but didn't want to pay an electrician to come out and install it, drill holes in my wood etc. So I quickly did a search and picked out these little ones guys as an alternative. They do exactly what they are described for. So very simple. The magnetic strip has a sticky backing that is applied to the surface of anything you want the light to stick to. Then the light stripe itself also has a magnetic backing that is attracted to the stationary magnetic stripe just laid down. We had to charge the light strips for several hours before we could use them. They are motion activated and really work. The only downside is that the light only lasts for a short time when set to motion activation. You can also switch it to "always on" function. Or, of course, turn it off all the time. I like them a lot for the price. You can also place them in your closet or anywhere you just need some light without messing around with a wall switch.
