Excellent light. The instructions are very confusing as they are not written by someone fluent in English. It took me a while to figure out how to program the remote. You need to press the number 1 button 5 times quickly as soon as you turn on the light switch and before the actual lights come on, do the same with the 🌞 icon by pressing 5 times very quickly after turning on the light switch to get everything reset codes. Regarding the length adjustment, I made the mistake of adjusting it before hanging the lamp, it's better if you do it afterwards as you can just stuff the excess in. If you make it short you have to take it apart from the inside, there is a little nut that comes loose and you can adjust it. The electrical connections are fairly simple: black to red, blue to white, and yellow to ground.
