I got these after eating mud and my previous Cross-X gloves saved my hands but now they have big holes in the palms. I've had this pair for about 2 years and ride about 40 miles a week between commuting and the track. They're thinner than the previous shoe so we'll look at their durability or if they're just as protective. They work better with touch screens and are very comfortable even on long journeys. Palms, like all leather palms, need some drying if they get wet from sweat or rain. All in all a great pair of gloves that fit well, the only concern is if they will hold up.
