They don't go well with the volume or mute buttons

We no longer use them. They don't go well with the volume or mute buttons. Seems like a good idea, but nothing good. Too soft to stay in place. A large opening around the front slides down the sides, so you end up pressing the volume and mute buttons in that opening. Sometimes I suddenly hit the mute button. Aggravating.
