Good and bad Good It's cheap. He does what he has to. I've had it on my car for about a year now and no real complaints about it breaking or anything like that. He does what he has to. Defects. It's made of what appears to be cast iron. But strangely it already has a layer of rust when I last looked at it, that was only about 6 months after installation. There is no coating, no paint, nothing to protect it from the elements. I can't say how badly it will rust over time. Maybe that light layer of rust that's on him is the best he can take, like a whole covering of a person does. I do not know. and honestly it's under the car so no one will see it unless they put it on a lift so in a way it doesn't matter. Also, like many other things, it is made in China. All in all it's a part, it's cheap, it works and has no compatibility issues, plus it's hard to put on. It has grease-free fittings so you don't have to worry about greasing. I'm basically deducting 1 star because it's made in China and will rust slightly after 6 months due to lack of plating. However, I want you to know that this is a light cover. It's not too bad like it's peeling or anything, just a light film. What else is there to say? -------------------------------------- --------Update you I have it's been around 2 years now and it's still working fine. No problem. A slight touch of rust on it didn't deteriorate much either. Just light rust. The bolts that hold things together, like those on the stabilizer bars that were replaced at the same time, are many times more rusted. So you don't have to worry about rust if you don't want to do anything about it. Also, I live in an area where they like to use tons of salt on the roads, which also has the added benefit of salt. I would still recommend it as a good replacement.
