Review on Extension Cord SJTW Lighted LifeSupplyUSA Industrial Electrical in Wiring & Connecting by Hector Watkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is just the thing for my homemade 16 " line spools that others can make themselves.

6" steel tubular nipples for axle with cut threaded ends and stepped ends machined to that they fit into center holes in pizza pans, with 1/2" x 6" bolt through steel tubing for axle. In center sleeve made from an empty 1 gallon plastic paint can with top half cut off four 3/4" x 1/8" flat aluminum or steel rods cut and bent at both ends to connect two skillet pizza. and support in a plastic can of paint. Inside the plastic paint can is a plastic 3-way box to fit two duplex outlets. The axle goes through a center hole on the back of the 3-Plastic Electric Gange Box for panel mounting.I already had two 12 gauge 100 feet -Extensions on two of these reels and had plenty of room and looked for a longer cable to fill the rest of the reel and then found these 200ft cables with even larger 10 gauge wire and after comparing prices bought this cable from Revain hoping it would fit the cable spool. The photos didn't accurately reflect the size of these lines, so I could only guess, or better yet, hope they would fit on my homemade line spools. For those who want to know the actual outer diameter of the cable, I measured it with my caliper and it's about .570", which is larger than the fork ends shown in the photos. I put these two 100 foot 12 gauge line into a spool and still had plenty more so I was hoping these lines would still fit the remaining space on these spools. mine when someone else wants to make their own line spool for their 200 foot 10 gauge line. Haven't used my cable yet but based on the size of the wire and the wire gauge listed I believe as others have posted that this cable should be very strong and long enough for many uses. If I need more wire, I can connect one of my 100 foot 12 gauge wire to the end of this 200 foot 10 gauge wire with minimal voltage drop over the last 100 feet. their own cord reel for storing and using those 200 feet of 10 gauge cord.
