Difficult to clean for glasses

This mug is a scrap factory. The lid is terribly complex and you have to take it apart to clean it properly. Skip a complete disassembly for about a week and you'll end up with a buildup of junk. I thought I could get away with just a splash from the sink, but no. The only reason I kept it is because it has a "fountain" on the lid. I struggle with a travel mug and like the hot contents to be poured down the fountain first so I can drink normally from there. Small holed cups either let me burn my tongue or when the drink cools to body temperature it ends up dripping down my chin lol. I wish I had sent it back because it is taking longer than I would like. You can separate the pieces of the lid fairly quickly, but I found I also had to remove the main gasket as it also attracts dirt. It's not that hard, but I need to put my reading glasses back in. Even with a complete disassembly, there are many nooks and crannies that the washing hose does not always clean. The lid may be difficult to unscrew after sitting for several hours. It wasn't noticeable when it was new, but now that it's a few months old it's sometimes difficult to remove the cover. It's easy to drink from the cup and keeps it warm for a really long time. My search for the perfect mug continues.
