The biggest problem is the broken lid. The seal will peel off the metal and the lid will twist if you try to remove it from the mug. Now it takes a screwdriver and a husband to remove it. This mug is a scrap factory. The lid is terribly complex and you have to take it apart to clean it properly. Skip a complete disassembly for about a week and you'll end up with a buildup of junk. I thought I could get away with just a splash from the sink, but no. The only reason I kept it is because it has a "fountain" on the lid. I got one of these for Christmas two years ago and it was THE BEST. This mug literally keeps the liquid warm for 6-8 hours. That's great. Wonderful.
