I never realized how many rings I had, nor how many had a thick band. Like American Indian jewelry can have those wide flat bands? Well mine fit! There was one ring that made the glue crackle when I tried to out it in, so I'm not storing it in there. But it is holding rings with tall settings, and they aren't banging on the glass, and those wide bands I mentioned. Its great for my costume jewelry too.The only drawback is the ribbon that keeps the lid from flipping flat when you open the box. You can open to exactly 90 degrees, so there's a chance it will try to close if it is jiggled while open. I'm glad the ribbon is there though because I'd hate for it to flop open and break the glass.
