My family has used hot water bottles for years. All the kids have one and take them to bed on cold nights, my partner and I like to use them for back pain and the like. This bottle keeps the water warm for a good number of hours and does the trick. It can also be filled with ice and used as a cold compress. Put the knitted cover on while it's empty and it really never needs to come off except for cleaning. The cover keeps you from getting burned and does it's job perfectly. It's easy enough to fold it down some to empty and refill. This bottle seems a bit expensive but is well made and sturdy and should last a good many years.
