Mine just arrived in the mail. So excited I took it straight away to put the engraved plate on. Big mistake! At first glance no damage, everything is fine. When the box was opened, a piece of fabric was torn off inside, which is not visible when the box is closed. A very small detail but for the money I wish this company would inspect them before shipping. Very disappointed as I was going to wrap it up for my husband tonight and put it under the tree. I spent $20 for a sign with his name already on it. It took me 5 minutes to take it off after noticing the tear. I'm now sending it back hoping to get an undamaged replacement before Christmas. Then spend another $20 to redesign and glue another panel. Pooh. As for the box, it's just beautiful. I love this watch box! The disappointment is the torn fabric inside, especially just before Christmas. For this reason I give 3 stars. If I receive a new box without damage I will give 5 stars.
