manufacturing defect?

Mine just arrived in the mail. So excited I took it straight away to put the engraved plate on. Big mistake! At first glance no damage, everything is fine. When the box was opened, a piece of fabric was torn off inside, which is not visible when the box is closed. A very small detail but for the money I wish this company would inspect them before shipping. Very disappointed as I was going to wrap it up for my husband tonight and put it under the tree. I spent $20 for a sign with his nameโ€ฆ

A good product. But had to make necessary changes

PLEASE READ! I can't give five stars due to an apparent design flaw, but there is an inexpensive solution to fix this. For the price, this box is very well put together and beautiful. The BIGGEST problem with this box is that after inserting the spacers, there is a significant gap at the top and bottom of each slot. I have a couple of luxury steel watches that kept hanging around in the box because they couldn't fit properly. My inexpensive solution was to purchase a 1" x 3/8" roll of blackโ€ฆ

SCRATCH/CUT HAZARD! The decorative metal plate has sharp edges that could scratch/cut you or your watch!

I bought this case two weeks ago and am generally pleased with the looks and build quality. Edges that can easily scratch the watch or cut the back of the hand. The first day I bought it I hit the back of my hand on the plate and it left a 2 inch bleeding scratch, so I quickly grabbed a file and smoothed out the raw, razor sharp metal burrs. When I did this, I remember thinking that the cover itself, even smoothed, could easily scratch the watch when accessing the case. Looking back, I shouldโ€ฆ

Exceeded expectations. A smart choice for women too.

Bought this for myself hoping it would work for a ladies watch. Although the same company makes boxes for women, they have a tight lid and magnetic closure. I wanted a glass cover for my sundial and not something magnetic because I also have an old automatic watch. I was very impressed when I received them. The watch case feels solid and well made and my husband was impressed with the type of hinge used. The faux leather exterior has a nice textured pattern and the cushions are soft enough toโ€ฆ
