Exceeded expectations. A smart choice for women too.

Bought this for myself hoping it would work for a ladies watch. Although the same company makes boxes for women, they have a tight lid and magnetic closure. I wanted a glass cover for my sundial and not something magnetic because I also have an old automatic watch. I was very impressed when I received them. The watch case feels solid and well made and my husband was impressed with the type of hinge used. The faux leather exterior has a nice textured pattern and the cushions are soft enough to squeeze a bit. Looks very classy. They are nicely packaged in a beautiful cardboard box with a hinged lid so you can easily remove the watch case and even comes with a blank gift card. It will really be a good gift for those who have a collection of watches. It looks like it's worth a lot more than it actually is. There is no lock but I still don't see the point of having a lock. If someone wants to steal the watch, they just take the whole case. A lock can help secure the box when you're on the go and don't want it accidentally opening, but you can just put it back in a pretty cardboard box if that's a problem. Boxes with locks seem to have issues with the lock not working and/or being difficult to open, so I'm just as happy without it. As you'd expect, the cushions are designed for men's watches, so they're slightly oversized. for medium-sized women's watches if you want to close the watch around pillows. The circumference of the pillows is 7.5 inches and can be compressed to about 7 inches. Attached are photos of my few hours of work with pillows. I managed to attach the watch to the freest spot with a leather strap. For watches with clasps that loosen but won't open, I could just leave the clasp open. For those opening the flat I just tossed the clock on the pillow and tucked the ends around the edges. I have two watches with rubber straps. One fits me a little loose and sits pretty well on the pillow without being too stretchy. The other sits fairly comfortably on my wrist (I have a small wrist, less than 6 inches) and while it fits on a pillow I didn't want to store the watch with so much strain on the bracelet. I've decided to remove one of the pillows and just put the watch in the cabin. I can make a small pillow for it, but that will work for now.

Pros
  • Accessory for shoes, jewelry and watches
Cons
  • Does not fit all
