Much better to drive now

My 16 silverado is on a 4/6 ihc drop and the ride with the shocks installed was terrible. I reached the ground and hit the frame against something hard. Put them on and it will be like I had no shocks before, it was a big difference. I still hit rock bottom from time to time, but not like I used to. Worth the little money spent.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

So far so good - shock absorbers

I installed two of these on my Silverado 1500 2008 2WD Single Cab. Originally the person in front of me had air shocks, they leaked and rode hard. I put them back in and the ride is much better. I had a little trouble installing them, but I think that's because the installer pushed the mounts in too far for the previous shocks to work. I managed to straighten them with the help of a sled. Very surprised to find that my ride height with the rear axle flip kit is exactly the same as before. Ps…

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great ride and looks

Put it in the back of my 2014 GMC Sierra Bench Cab with 5" rear drop and it drives great. Runs as well or even better than the new Bilsteins I've had. I had to switch to them because even with the shock extensions, the shocks will bottom out if dropped 5 inches. They don't have the crappy bushings etc that you see on some aftermarket shocks. They are really good and are 4.5 inches shorter overall than the standard length Bilsteins I took off. I got about 2.5 inches of travel with shock…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
