Let me start by saying that this is not Dr. Harvey is which I bought for my dog. I have bought Oracle Chicken or Beef for several years and have been happy. My dog loved it, his poop was regular and just as it should be and he seemed to be thriving. But I saw this new product and saw that it promotes weight loss and I figured my dog wasn't obese but might lose a pound or two. This is a small dachshund that weighs 14 pounds and can weigh around 12 pounds. I thought let's try this food. NOT RIGHT! Do not buy! Since starting this food my dog has gone "crazy". He's so hungry all the time that he acts like he hasn't eaten in years. He tries to eat through the garbage, he tries to eat all the food left on the plate on the table, he tried to eat crumbs and dirt off the floor, etc. He used to be fine. He never did that to old food. He also started acting strange. I'd say maybe because he's getting old and old, but that's not the case. There's something in the food. I don't know what it is, but it's definitely food. Pros: My dog loves the taste. Cons: It will literally drive your dog crazy.
