Worked for me right away

I've never been so lucky. Simply plug in the tool and work like a champion. I had to lift it up a bit as Amy suggests in her video so I don't have scratches on the surface between the words. Update: I've made a full 180 the more I've used it. The marks are so shallow that even a slightly aggressive polish will make them disappear. I had high hopes for such a tool when I received my Cameo 4 and thought the performance in cartridge 2 could really engrave. Was surprised that cartridge 1 is used. I'll try again if anyone finds something that uses cartridge 2. Update 2: The problem is not with this tool! I have since found out that this is a problem with Cameo 4. If you google "Feather Silhouette Studio", I'll give you tons of examples. Cameo 4 doesn't lift the tool high enough between words that you get scratches (or drag the stylus if using sketch pens). The recommended workaround is to slightly lift the tool in the carriage. Yes it stops scratches but now the tool is too big to engrave at any depth. I still have the Cameo 3 so I'm sending it back and ordering the Cameo 3 version. causing you to scratch (or drag the pen if using sketch pens).
