We have a number of devices that we're trying to charge from the same outlet in our living room, so we've been constantly switching cords. This charging station works great and makes the area a lot cleaner. We received 3 short Lightning cables for our Apple devices and 2 short Micro USB cables that plug into a small USB hub that is in the box. There are cable holes on each side of the box, so you can position it however you like. The USB hub is also in the box, so if it ever breaks, it's just the hub that's easy to swap out. The box itself is a very simple design. The top of the box only rests on the bottom and is easily fixed with magnets. My 9 year old son is a bit cramped when plugging in his school iPad and can move the top so keep an eye on it. It would have been nice for us to have another iPad-style slot, but of course that doesn't affect overall efficiency. This device has tidied up our living room, saved us the hassle of constantly changing cords, and gave us a good base for our devices when not in use. Very happy with it.
