When I ordered this I would be lying if I said I didn't choose it for aesthetic reasons. It fits perfectly with what's going on in my space and I get lots of compliments on it. I got this with the filter and light because it seemed like a good deal and I'm happy so far. However, I thought it would be bigger and I could fit a goldfish in it - it's DEFINITELY FOR SMALL ANIMALS. I have some shrimp and I've added some plants and rocks and shells and it looks absolutely amazing. But please do not bring fish or creatures that are not suitable for a micro aquarium here, buy something else for a little more than shrimp or snails. PROS: - beautiful - clean - light and filters work great and QUIET - comes with gravel, fits the scape - separate (white tray) CONS - difficult to clean around the scape (but I have snails, shrimp and plants for it) - I can't find any replacement filters for this model
