Although sold as "wine gift bags" they are wider than normal wine bags and strike me as better suited for large bottles of bourbon, whiskey or tequila! I have many small wine bags, but none of this size. Someone else mentioned that it fits two bottles of wine, but I know I wouldn't really have much reason to wrap two bottles at once unless I'm giving away the wine duet as a special gift. Most of the time, when you go to someone's house, you don't bring more than a bottle of wine with you! Also, there's no picture of grapes or anything to suggest they're supposed to be 'wine', so you can use them as generic gift bags. for everything that is in them. The golden color gives everything a festive touch. I like the rope handles and the material is well made. Overall I am happy with them and they are used for both Christmas celebrations and New Year's Eve.
