Not for sewing machines
Bought this thread for my Singer sewing machine I had problems with it straight away. Twice it jammed my machine because it broke off while sewing. I had to disassemble the bobbin case to get the thread out. After I switched to the thread that came with my sewing machine, these problems went away. It might work for hand sewing, haven't tried it yet, but I wouldn't recommend it for sewing machines, although it claims to be universal and will work for both.
