Some people have complained that it's cheaply made, it's just not true. This product must be used with caution. You can't just unroll it when it's in the down position, otherwise it might break. But once the cap is on the bottle, slow, steady pressure lowers the cap until the handles align. When the handles are aligned, the cap is on and no further pressure is required. Standing over the capper while bottling and leaning on it with your weight can overstretch your arms and break them. It just seems common sense. I have found it very easy to use and it has successfully capped over 300 bottles so far and I don't expect it to break.
