We bought this product assuming that it would work well with our reptile terrarium. However, based on our own experience, it was a complete waste of money. The product did not spread the heat evenly causing some parts of the terrarium to become too hot, while leaving other parts cold. The only good thing about this product is that it is sold in the Pet Supplies section. The bad thing is that it simply does not work effectively. Save your money and look elsewhere.
