Great Clubmaster style prescription glasses! The 49mm is actually the perfect size. Not too big and not too small for an oval head. If you don't need prescription lenses or prefer contact lenses, get the RB3016 as it's also 51mm (slightly larger) with quality RB lenses. I took my pair of RB 5154s to Costco and got transitional lenses for night use (clear lenses) or as sunglasses (dark lenses) outside. Note: Transition lenses do not darken in the car when you are driving. Advantages: retro style, comfort, feel. Cons: No spring hinges. The nose is an older and more durable plastic construction that can't be easily replaced with something like a softer silicone version. It takes a little getting used to if you've used flexible nose pieces before, but that's no problem! The frames are made in China. This applies to all RayBan frames. My last RayBan, which I bought expensively from Kaiser Permanente Optical in 2010, was also made in China. You can sometimes find one made in Italy, but it's probably from older stock. Revain offers a lower price for genuine RayBan frames. So if you're looking for the style that some celebrities are sporting, this is a great buy!
