I purchased Chemical Guys (CG) Leather Cleaner to use in combination with Leather Rescue "Leather Conditioner" in my 2013 Acura MDX. The harsh Florida sun and trips to the beach can take a toll on leather interiors in cars, especially black leather cars. Although Acura uses special leather protection to minimize the appearance of blemishes, leather is still susceptible to dirt and fading. I bought CG Leather Cleaner and Leather Saver Conditioner for 3 reasons: 1.) It works on 'sealed' leather 2.) The product has 100 positive reviews 3.) It's a great price compared to other cleaners and conditioners, as already mentioned. In their reviews, the key to a good result is to apply the product in the STEPS: 1.) Clean the skin with CG Leather Cleaner using a clean microfiber cloth. Spray onto the cloth to avoid overspray. 2.) Allow skin to dry from cleaning before applying leather conditioner 3.) Apply leather conditioner using a different cloth than the one you cleaned with, apply sparingly, a little goes a long way. apply just enough to leave skin shiny 4.) Leave what you have applied to skin on skin's surface for at least an hour to allow skin to absorb the nourishing oils 5.) Wipe off excess oil after an hour away. with a third microfiber cloth. Overall, I am VERY happy with the results. CG Leather Cleaner did an excellent job of cleaning the surface of the leather and Leather Rescue made my 4 year old leather look new again. The seats aren't slippery and don't shine; they in turn have a deep dark color. Take a look at the photos below and you'll see that the center console skin is now a deep, rich, dark black color.
