First, the image on this screen is pretty blurry. It's doable, it works, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who relies on color for their work. It's just very dull and not bright at all. The form factor is incredibly thin. For better or for worse, right? If it's too thin and you're traveling with it (because it's a portable monitor) I can see that it tends to flex. However, slim means you can pack it well and it sits lightly on your back, so it depends on your unique situation. It's so thin because the ports and guts are actually in a hinge. The hinge itself works really well, it's solid, it doesn't move, it has rubber feet to keep it in place, all great stuff. However, since the guts are in a loop, it means there are three ligaments connecting the panel to the main part of the hinge, and these ligaments are visible when the hinge is open. This is a potential future failure point. As with thinness, this may not be an issue for some people, but unless you plan to be very careful with it, it's easy to damage one of these tapes and thereby interfere with the monitor. Touchscreen works perfectly. Windows sometimes works a bit strangely with touch screens. I actually had to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter for Windows to recognize that it wasn't an automatic driver update for me. After rebooting, he updated the driver and the touchscreen worked fine. Before that it didn't work. This is a Windows issue, the screen itself works fine. The Thunderbolt (USBC) connection also works fine. I was able to use the screen with both HDMI and USB-C. Keep in mind that if you are using HDMI you will still need a USB-A to USB-C cable to deliver power as HDMI does not carry power. So with HDMI you use two cables compared to Thunderbolt where you only use one. So yes, despite providing the basic functionality, the color on the display is very disappointing and the design, while attractive, is quite subtle and has some potential flaws. Someone who takes good care of their electronics might not have a problem, but when it comes to children or just more careless people, it can easily be damaged.
