Contains 50 rubber bands. If you want, I suggest gently washing them before use, but I haven't done so. There was no strange smell. A wide range of colors to perfectly complement any outfit or hair aesthetic. They are made of fine, silky material. I'm a black woman so I like to apply it to my natural hair to keep it from frizzing in the morning. I don't sleep crazy so they don't come off.
